Nicole Rhoads was born on January 3, 1972 to Daniel and Elizabeth Rhoads. She was the youngest daughter of six children living in Huntingdon Valley, Pa. During her early years, Nicole lived the life of a princess. She was the youngest by 7 years, and had anything she wished for. She had a pony, Severn Star Gazer, and her protector was a 75lb male Irish Setter, George who would lay under her crib and growl whenever anyone tried to disturb her sleeping. George would frequently follow Nicole to school and walk through the school looking for her so much so that he was awarded a third grade report card since his attendance was great.
She attended Lower Moreland High School in Huntingdon Valley where she was a three season varsity athlete. Nicole was known throughout the school as being not only a talented athlete, but a lively young woman and great friend. She was known to play small pranks on her teachers, and was always able to make others laugh.
After high school, Nicole attended and graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in pre-veterinary medicine. Nicole was a life long animal lover. Her love of animals lasted until her death, and is carried on today through her family.
Instead of becoming a vet, Nicole went into the family business with her father, brothers and sisters. She was known to have a quick wit and ability to think outside the box. She had a zest for fun and living life to the fullest. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and mother. She was murdered by her ex husband on March 31,2015, two months after the finalization of her divorce.
